Last month, we improved Levels 1, 3, 4, and 5 of the Language Pyramid with new and updated QuickStart assignments. To keep our members up-to-speed with these changes, I earmarked the past few articles to blog about those updates. But while I've taken a break from writing about new content, our film team hasn't stopped producing it!

Preemies are at an especially high risk for language delay. Research points to the fact that preemies do not develop the same level of sound awareness at 6 months old that full-term babies do.

Over the past few weeks, we have made many of our newest clips more accessible by incorporating them into our Language Pyramid QuickStarts. In my last post, I outlined the changes we made to Level 1 of the Language Pyramid and shared ideas for practicing imitation skills at home. In this article, I will review the changes we have made to Levels 3, 4, and 5. I will explain how to access the updated QuickStarts if your student is already working in one of these levels, and I will suggest a few methods for practicing the carrier phrases learned in Level 5 of the Language Pyramid.

This month we are excited to bring new content to our Language Pyramid QuickStarts! The team at Gemiini is always working on new videos to bolster the skills we target in the Language Pyramid. This month, we are making our newest clips more accessible by incorporating them into our Language Pyramid QuickStarts.

This week our film team finished work on a set of clips teaching articulation for various vowel + r letter blends. These clips contribute to our huge library of content teaching articulation for dozens of common letter blends and spelling patterns. We have also uploaded new clips that model how to count mixed coins.

This week we are pleased to make dozens of new imitation clips available to our members. In these clips, exaggerated motor actions are paired with silly sounds, playful words, and animal noises to motivate learners to bridge the gap between motor and vocal imitation.
