it's been a REALLY LONG time, since I have been excited about something, but I am super excited about this. I strongly believe this is going to be a deal changer for our kids!

So, it took me about a year and a half to post again. Hmmmm. Life is a roller coaster ride, my friends. I feel like my roller coaster has been going warp speed. So many things have happened; but things are finally calming down (I hope) and I intend on working on this blog, accompanied by demonstration videos on You Tube. Stay tuned for more details.

Recently I've been hearing a lot about a program called https://www.gemiini.org/ Gemiini. It is a program to help non verbal children speak. We decided to take the plunge and buy it for Sam, as well as a tablet.

It's natural to be skeptical of things. That's especially true when new products make magnificent claims, and it's even more true in fields such as autism research, treatment, and therapy.

When we started the Discrete Video Modeling system at Gemiini, we didn’t intend to create a magical fix for speech and language delays. What we did set out to do is help children effectively communicate. We did that by creating a new system of modeling speech, testing it rigorously, and refining what we learned over time.
