Kurt N. Woeller, D.O. (physician, author, educator) is an osteopathic physician who specializes in traditional osteopathic medicine, cranial osteopathy and integrative medicine. His primary focus is treating children with autism-spectrum disorders using a biomedical approach.
Since 1998 Dr. Woeller has been a referral physician for the Autism Research Institute and Defeat Autism Now! organization. Defeat Autism Now is an organization of doctors, researchers and scientists dedicated to the biomedical assessment and treatment of children, teenagers and adults with autism-spectrum disorders.
Dr. Woeller is currently the Medical Director for Stillpoint Center for Integrative Medicine (www.mystillpoint.com) in Murrieta, CA. He also is the Autism Outreach Clinical Director for The Great Plains Laboratory outreach clinics. These clinics provide patients access to sophisticated testing and treatment options in underserved areas of the country. These clinics have provided thousands of parents with autism-spectrum children the ability to work with doctors trained by Dr. Woeller in the biomedical approach to autism.
In addition, Dr. Woeller serves as a clinical consultant for Great Plains Laboratory teaching doctors the latest in biomedical diagnostic testing and treatment protocols. He lectures nationwide for Great Plains Laboratory, as well independently regarding the benefits of biomedicine for children with autism.
Dr. Woeller is a member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). He holds advanced certification in Functional Medicine from BioHealth Diagnostics, and is licensed from the Osteopathic Medical Board of California as an Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon.
He graduated in 1995 from the University of New England, College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) in Biddeford, Maine. After completing his postgraduate training in 1996 from Mesa General Hospital in Arizona he returned to San Diego, CA. to begin private practice. He currently lives and practices in the Temecula/Murrieta area just north of San Diego.
